Our History


 Born in Richmond, Va, Chef Shay started cooking at the age of 6 and developed a passion for cooking. Chef Shay attended Le Cordon Bleu for culinary arts and fine-tuned her skills at a variety of restaurants.  She has also worked as a banquet chef for the CNN center/Omni Hotel, Supervisor over CourtSide Club at State Farm Arena and Supervisor for The Gullwing Club (Arthur Blanks Private club) at the Mercedes-Benz stadium. She has also catered for movie sets in Atlanta and popular radio morning and afternoon shows in New York City, Atlanta and Los Angeles.  In her copious time she likes to experiment with different recipes and cooking techniques. In 2014, Chef Shay started a catering business introducing her to a plethora of popular celebrities.  Upon establishing a business relationship with her celebrity clients,  Chef Shay became the go-to chef earning her a reputation as the “Chef For The Stars”.

      In 2016, Chef Shay embraced veganism and began her journey in mastering recipes.  While adding this way of healthy eating to her culinary skills she once again became high in demand to open a restaurant to establish this lifestyle in a market where the demand is high but the supply is very low.
